How to Place a Hold
The most popular question we get in the library is, "How do I place a hold on a book?" Here's a quick guide on how to do that. As always, please feel free to ask Mrs. Ellingson or Mr. Trent if you need help. Go to the library catalog search page Enter the author or title of the book you’re looking for. Click the purple arrow to the right of the book you want. If the book is checked out, there will be a red OUT sign on the book image. Click on the “Place Hold” icon. It will ask you to log in at this point. E nter your barcode number from your planner for the username. Enter your last name for the password. Click “Place Hold” on the pop-up. When your requested book arrives at the library, a note will be delivered to you in class.
